What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Service Manager to join our Porsche St. Louis team. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting company in a fast-paced environment.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

  • Supervise the service department staff including advisors, technicians, warranty administrators, cashiers, service porters and service receptionists.
  • Actively support service advisers - assisting with appointment scheduling, customer interactions, and writing repair orders as needed.
  • Manage the sold and unsold hours.
  • Build relationships with clients to support business and manage reputation.
  • Meet with any dissatisfied customers and factory personnel.
  • Maintain high technician productivity with training programs and proper dispatching based on skill levels.
  • Collaborate with the parts manager inventory stocking requirements to obtain a high level of service.
  • Monitor and control expenses such as shop supplies and policy adjustments.
  • Increase sales and gross profit by generating new business with mailings, coupons, and customer contact strategies.
  • Control repair order flow and supervise open repair reports and work in process.
  • Maintain conformity with government regulations such as OSHA safety, and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Control the shop tool inventory and shop manuals, purchasing the most current items at the least amount of expense.
  • Actively monitor and verify adherence to latest warranty policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Director, operating within established processes and oversight to maintain culture, exceed performance standards, and strengthen the service department overall at Porsche St. Louis.

The opportunity is for you if you have:

  • Previous dealership service manager experience required.
  • Highline dealership experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, department employees, and other managers with verbal meetings and written reports.
  • Excellent math, technical, and leadership skills.
  • Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
