What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Transport Driver to join our Ferrari Silicon Valley team. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting company in a fast-paced environment.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

  • Maintains the schedule for all pick ups and drop offs
  • Pro-actively ensures truck is being maximized to its full potential
  • Operates an enclosed, flat bed, truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer in all situations. This may include steep or tight driveways
  • Loads and unloads all vehicles with extreme care using specialized equipment when warranted
  • Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to the business office or other appropriate staff when required
  • Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to the manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
  • Able to think creatively. Can proactively manage a schedule
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Must be able to report to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, as well as occasional weekends and late hours
  • Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to travel frequently
  • Self-motivated and diligent
  • Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Commercial license a plus, but not required.
  • Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Pay range for this role is: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
